Voice over Internet ProtocolVoIP (pronounced alternately, voip, vee-oh-eye-pee, voice-over-eye-pee, or just voice-over) is the hot technology that is driving the convergence revolution. Simply put, it means transmitting telephone conversations through a data network rather than traditional phone lines.
VoIP can save a business money in a number of ways.
The most common problem with VoIP is sound quality: Although the VoIP equipment itself is capable of high quality transmissions, echoing and other sound anomalies can occur because of congestion on the data network, bad cabling or faulty network equipment. Most telephone system vendors don't know how to diagnose or solve these problems, and many companies are afraid to implement VoIP because of the horror stories they have heard or been through.
Because we have both a full-fledged telecommunication division and IT division, we are able to implement VoIP solutions easily and effectively.
